Dr. Siting Liu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Riverside. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was advised by Professor Stanley J. Osher. Dr. Liu’s research lies at the intersection of applied mathematics, scientific computing, and data-driven modeling. Her current work focuses on the development and analysis of computational methods for optimization, data science, and machine learning, with particular emphasis on problems involving partial differential equations, optimal control, and mean-field games. She is especially interested in designing efficient and robust algorithms that combine mathematical modeling with modern machine learning techniques to address complex, high-dimensional problems in science and engineering.
